• The Starrett DCH - Deep Cut Bi-Metal Hole Saws. Combing the aggressive tooth form from previous Dual Pitch Hole Saws with extra cobalt HSS teeth. Provides enhanced heat and wear resistance. The Deep Cut saw features an increased depth of 51mm (2") and is ideal for cutting metal and tubes with a thickness of greater than 3mm, and wood up to 51mm (2") thick. Featuring a 10mm increase in cutting depth and aggressive material penetration with kerf clearance. It is the complete multi-purpose hole saw to penetrate deep into metals, wood, plastic, plaster, and other materials. Recommended cutting depth - greater than 3mm (1/8"). • 51mm (2") hole saw depth improves cutting performance on tubes, particularly where there is a need to cut through both sides of the tube. • New tooth material for enhanced heat and wear resistance and greater product life. • Ideal for solid materials or tubes of a wall thickness greater than 3mm (1/8") in thickness. • Aggressive material penetration and kerf clearance. • 51mm (2") hole saw depth - requires arbors with an extended length pilot drill (e.g. A1E, A2E, or A17-38E, etc.). • Reduced vibration and smooth cutting action for excellent ergonomics, reducing user fatigue. • Size range: 19mm - 210mm (3/4" -; 8.9/32").
