Multi Buy Deals: How Mix & Match & Save Works
Everyone likes a deal, but most multi buy deals only work if you buy three of exactly the same thing. Our Mix & Match & Save offer works differently. Buy any 2 or more items from the same savings group and you save 5%, 10% or 15%, automatically, with no code. The products don't have to match. A paintbrush and a roller frame count. So does a box of screws and a downlight.
Here's how these multi buy deals work, with real products and prices from our range.
How our multi buy deals work
- Pick any 2 or more items from the same savings group. Different products in the same group mix freely.
- The discount applies automatically in the basket. There's no code to remember.
- There are three groups: the 5% range with 22,000+ products, the 10% range with 4,900+ products and the 15% range with 3,400+ products.
- Each group works on its own. Two items from the 15% group get 15% off. One item from the 15% group plus one from the 10% group doesn't trigger either discount, because neither group has two items yet.

Worked examples with real prices
Example 1: two items in the 15% group
- ForgeFix Metal Insulation Disc 5.3mm (50) at £6.99
- Luceco Ftype MK2 Fire Rated Downlight 4W/6W 750lm at £7.49
Total £14.48. 15% off saves £2.16, so you pay £12.32.
Example 2: a decorating kit in the 15% group
- Draper 20501 Flat Paint Brush with Soft Grip, 50mm at £6.99
- Faithfull Soft Grip Roller Frame 228 x 38mm at £6.99
- Faithfull Woven Medium Pile Roller Sleeve 230 x 44mm at £6.49
- Toupret Wood Filler Natural Wood 330g at £6.99
Total £27.46. 15% off saves £4.09, so you pay £23.37.
Example 3: fixings in the 10% group
- ForgeFix Multi-Purpose Pozi Compatible Screw 4 x 25mm Box 200 at £4.99
- ForgeFix Flat Penny Washer ZP M6 x 25mm ForgePack 20 at £4.49
Total £9.48. 10% off saves £0.93, so you pay £8.55.
Example 4: winter car kit in the 5% group
- Polyguard Screen Wash -20 5L at £9.99
- Granvile Anti-Freeze 1L Red Coolant at £9.99
Total £19.98. 5% off saves £0.98, so you pay £19.00.
Tip: if you're already buying one item from a group, check what else is in that group. Adding a second thing you need anyway, like a roller sleeve with your brush, is what unlocks the discount.
Which categories are in each group
Each group is split into category ranges so you can find what's relevant to your job.
- 15% group: fixings, electrical, decorating, hand tools, power tools, landscaping, consumables and automotive. Start with the 15% fixings range or the 15% decorating range.
- 10% group: the same categories as the 15% group, plus ironmongery.
- 5% group: the same categories again, plus ironmongery, plumbing and storage. It's the biggest group by far, with more than 22,000 products.
The 5% group includes everyday shop lines too. For example, Sawn UC4 Treated Fence Posts 75mm x 75mm are £7.99 at 1.8m and £10.49 at 2.4m.
Buying just one item? Use ROCK5
If you only need one thing, or your basket doesn't have two items from the same group, use code ROCK5 for 5% off the whole order. For example, a Gerber Dime Multi Tool at £24.49 would come down by £1.22 to £23.27.
ROCK5 does not combine with the Mix & Match automatic discount. It's one or the other, so use Mix & Match when you're buying 2+ from a group, or ROCK5 when you're not.
A trade supplies discount without the paperwork
Mix & Match works for everyone, whether you're doing up a flat in St James or running jobs across Kingsthorpe and Moulton. If you buy regularly for work, our trade account application is worth a look too, alongside our current trade deals.
Heavy items such as timber and fencing are collection-only or local van delivery. Our own van covers addresses within 10 miles of the shop for £19.99 on orders over £100, and you pick a one-hour slot in the basket. Click & Collect orders for in-stock items are usually ready in 1 to 2 hours.
