Turks Turban is shaped rather like a cottage loaf. They looks like a smaller squash is bursting out the top of a slightly bigger squash. They have hard skins and have multi-coloured skins with shades of orange, green, yellow and white. Despite its unusual and attractive fruits being highly ornamental and often used for harvest decorations, they are very good to eat and are perfect for stuffing and cooking whole as an individual portion. They have a sweet and nutty flavour. Turks Turban grow to sizes of around 25-40cm in diameter and weights of around 2-2.5kg.
